FFEU opens Washington DC office and hosts inaugural Washington, D.C., Benefit and Reception.

Interethnic Young Person’s Voter Registration Project

FFEU, the Hip-Hop Summit Action Network (HSAN), and United Jewish Communities (UJC) have joined forces on an initiative that builds on the historic Black/Jewish coalition of the civil rights era by creating a new multicultural alliance to increase voter turnout.

FFEU holds first Interethnic Congressional Staff Dinner in Washington, DC.

Rabbi Marc Schneier is presented with the Distinguished Service Award by the City of New York.

Darfur Campaign

FFEU joins multifaith Save Darfur Coalition and leads national advocacy efforts with members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, the Congressional Black Caucus, and the Congressional Jewish Delegation to bring attention to the genocide occurring in the Darfur region of the Sudan and support H. Con. Res 467. legislation officially declaring genocide in Darfur. As a result, the bill was passed unanimously.
