FFEU Facilitates NY Muslim Leaders Speaking Out in support of Jewish and Muslim Hostages in Gaza

FFEU is proud to facilitate the participation of several prominent Muslim leaders in New York who spoke at a unique interfaith gathering that brought together religious leaders of various denominations with families of Jewish and Muslim hostages held by Hamas since October 7th.

The conversation’s goal was to inform and remind people about the Jewish and Muslim hostages being held in Gaza, call for their release and bring dialogue and compassion to the region.

Jewish American Heritage Month At The White House

May 20, 2024 – Washington, D.C.

Rabbi Marc Schneier and his wife Simi were among the distinguished guests invited this week by President Joe Biden to participate in the White House Jewish American Heritage Month Celebration. They joined Vice President Kamala Harris and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, as well as comedian and actress Tiffany Haddish. Rabbi Schneier discussed FFEU’s Muslim-Jewish college campus initiative with the Second Gentleman.

New York’s Public Theater

The Public Theater, a hub of creativity and cultural exchange, recently hosted an enlightening discussion on fostering unity and understanding in times of adversity. The panel featured Rabbi Schneier, ADL’s Scott Richman, and distinguished author and New York Times writer Kwame Anthony Appiah, who came together to share their insights on bridging communities and promoting harmony in these challenging times.

Sons of Abraham Arabic Translation Available at Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2023

The Arabic translation of Sons of Abraham: A Candid Conversation about the Issues That Divide and Unite Jews and Muslims, co-authored by Rabbi Marc Schneier and Imam Shamsi Ali, is prominently on display at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair. Sons of Abraham, the definitive text in Muslim-Jewish relations, is the first book on this subject to be available in Arabic. The book was translated into Arabic by UAE’s leading publishing house Motivate, and will be widely distributed throughout UAE in the coming months.
