Juneteenth Celebration with Keynote Speaker Congressman Hakeem Jeffries

House Democratic Minority Leader, Congressman Hakeem Jeffries, was the keynote speaker at the annual 2023 Juneteenth celebration, hosted by FFEU President Rabbi Marc Schneier. During his remarks, Representative Jeffries spoke of the unique bond between the Jewish and the African American communities — both once slaves. “Both were knocked down but not out,” he declared.
