Interfaith Harmony for Global Peace and Security” conference and Ambassadorial receptions in Washington DC

FFEU President Rabbi Marc Schneier was honored, as a keynote speaker, to join his esteemed friend, H.E. Khazar Ibrahim Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United States, at Azerbaijan’s international Conference on “Interfaith Harmony for Global Peace and Security” in Washington DC. The conference was co-organized on October 26. by the Baku International Multiculturalism Centre, the International Center for Law and Religion Studies, the Catholic University of America and the State Committee on Religious Associations of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Later that evening Rabbi Schneier along with H.E. Murat Mercan, Ambassador of Turkiye to the United States attended the reception hosted at the residence of Israel’s Ambassador to the United States, H.E. Michael Herzog in honor of H.E. Isaac Herzog, President of Israel.

On October 27, Rabbi Schneier joined a litany of American Jewish leaders and a cadre of diplomats and U.S. officials at the Turkish national day reception at the residence of Ambassador Mercan, marking the 99th Anniversary of the Founding of the Republic of Türkiye.
