Facilitating the Historic Ankara Meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Israeli President Isaac Herzog

Rabbi Schneier joined Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Israeli President Isaac Herzog at a private dinner in Ankara, in the Presidential Palace, to celebrate Türkiye-Israel rapprochement.

This first step to an Israel-Türkiye rapprochement – which marked the first visit of an Israeli leader in the past 14 years to Türkiye – was facilitated by Rabbi Schneier in cooperation with the Turkish Ambassador to the United States H.E. Murat Mercan.
