Rabbi Marc Schneier speaks at the Baku Center for Interfaith Cooperation (BCIC) in Berlin, Germany

FFEU President Rabbi Marc Schneier spoke at the interreligious conference in Berlin sponsored by BCIC, the Baku Center for Interfaith Cooperation. Speaking about “transitioning dialogue to cooperation,” Rabbi Schneier challenged the participants (including 400 religious luminaries and members of Germany’s parliament) why weren’t the voices of faith leaders raised in screaming protest in November 1938 while 1400 synagogues were engulfed in flames, 7500 Jewish shops destroyed and 30,000 Jews incarcerated and sent to concentration camps.
