Addressing Great Neck’s United Against Hate Conference – A prelude to Martin Luther King Weekend

Rabbi Marc Schneier addressed the ‘United Against Hate conference’ hosted on January 11, 2024, by Ted Rosen, Mayor of Great Neck Plaza. The event was moderated by Dr. Ken Bossert, Great Neck Public School Superintendent and was convened at Great Neck Plaza Village Hall as a prelude to Martin Luther King Weekend. The Rabbi was joined by Imam Shamsi Ali, Karen Boykin-Towns, NAACP chair-elect, Steven Chen, Great Neck Chinese Association co-President, and Hon. Mojgan Lancman, judge of New York Supreme Court 11th Judicial District. Reflecting on the teachings of Dr. King Jr., Panelists call for unity to combat the rising tide of hate crimes and intolerance gripping the nation.
