Hip Hop Mogul and Rabbi Honor Influential Young Leaders at
Spring Benefit Reception

The Foundation for Ethnic Understanding held its annual New York Spring Benefit on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at the beautiful home of Denise Rich.

Rabbi Marc Schneier, President, and Russell Simmons, Chairman, presented the 2008 Joseph Papp Racial Harmony Award to Jesse Itzler, Co-Founder and Chairman of Marquis Jet Partners and Chris Lighty, President and CEO, Violator Management and Records.

According to Rabbi Schneier, "We are honored to mark the outstanding achievements of this generation of talented young leaders who have already advanced the cause of diversity and race relations. We are witnessing exciting changes in America today, and Jesse's and Chris' timely involvement is a reflection of this change."
