Three Leaders in Los Angeles Honored by The
Foundation
On Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at 6:00
p.m., The Foundation for Ethnic Understanding hosted its annual Los Angeles
Benefit at the home of Brett Ratner in Beverly Hills.
Joseph Papp Racial Harmony Award is named in memory of The Foundation
for Ethnic Understanding's cofounder, Joseph Papp. It honors individuals
for their efforts in promoting diversity and ethnic tolerance through
their businesses and personal endeavors.
The 2008 Joseph Papp Racial Harmony Award recipients were:
- Vicangelo Bulluck, Executive Director,
NAACP Hollywood Bureau/Executive Producer NAACP Image Awards
- Jay Faires, President of Music, Lionsgate
- Daphna Ziman, Founder and Chairperson,
Children United Nations
